Our Curriculum
Our curriculum for 21st century learning is dynamic, progressive, and embraces best practice in education. The well-researched and time-tested Montessori curriculum has been updated and enriched by current validated research in education and child development. It is designed to help students cultivate superior academic and life skills, aiming high while allowing children to get there at their own pace.

“An inch wide and a mile deep” is our guiding principle for curriculum design. As technology and knowledge grow exponentially, a 21st century education must teach students how to grapple with presently unforeseeable challenges; helping students learn how to learn and how to think. Our students delve deeply into areas of inquiry, learning what questions to ask and how to think critically, analytically, and creatively. They become thinkers, problem-solvers, and doers. And we nurture the whole child, because we know from research that emotional, physical, and social functioning are integrally related to academic performance and intellectual growth.

Our triple-accredited curriculum achieves high standards of excellence. We meet or exceed the New Jersey curriculum standards, providing all students from early childhood through grade 6 with age-appropriate study of all the core subjects, music, art, physical education, and foreign language. Our curriculum has been recognized and praised by outside experts and is part of the reason we hold accreditations from 3 different accrediting bodies:

     American Montessori Society (AMS)
Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSACS)
National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
