About Our School
The Red Oaks School is a progressive, independent, early childhood (preschool, kindergarten and elementary) school located in Morristown, New Jersey. Our diverse community of families originates from over thirty different countries and resides in communities throughout Essex, Morris, Somerset, Sussex and Union counties. The Red Oaks School Branches Out
We are so pleased to share the news that The Red Oaks School Board of Trustees has leased 6,000 square feet of additional space, just half a mile from our current building. Pending application to and approval from Morristown zoning board, we will use this space for instructional purposes beginning September, 2012, and, over the next two years, will create a full middle school which will educate students through 8th grade.
We want to thank all of the parents, educators, supporters, and friends who, over many decades, have worked to make this prevailing dream an exciting reality.
Parent Lecture Series, Speaker: Lauren Hyman Kaplan. M.A.
Thursday, February 9th, 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at ROS - Topic: Emotionally intelligent parenting with regard to cliques and bullying. Lauren, a former teacher and current elementary school counselor is a consultant, speaker, and emotional intelligence coach in the field of social-emotional intelligence and bullying prevention. Her trainings, presentations, workshops, and on-going consultation services help educators, parents, and mental health professionals sustain safer, more caring learning environments for children.
