A Few Musical Notes

Not to be deterred by a little winter storm postponement, our Early Childhood classrooms held their annual Winter Family Music Presentation yesterday morning. Families enjoyed a variety of musical performances matching pitch, following a beat, and responding to musical cues. For parents of older children, you may fondly recall the days of Early Childhood performances to include the little ones experiencing some version of stage fright. In that regard, our Primaries never disappoint. While many children were singing their hearts out, others stood frozen. We want you to know, it’s all part and parcel of Early Childhood. At the end of the day, they have all increased attention spans, improved motor skills, and continue to develop the artistic process: creating, performing, and responding.
