During a busy Red Oaks weekend, 26 Red Oaks parents came together at Susanna Short’s barn. By a cozy and roaring fire, our taste buds were taken on a journey to France, South Africa, and Argentina as we savored wines expertly paired with artisan chocolates to bring out underlying notes of lavender, banana and even blue cheese! Lisa Mecray Rogers of Luxx Chocolat guided us through the experience with carefully selected wines to match her hand-crafted fillings encased in chocolate sourced from Venezuela and Ecuador – divine.
