Last week, our Middle School students conquered the Catskills on their annual three-day retreat to Frost Valley YMCA. It was yet another memorable and successful trip for all! Don't take our word for it. Here's what some students had to say upon their return:

"I enjoyed the water ecology. I got to see a salamander for the first time!" –Zara, Grade 5

"I really like kayaking because it let us be creative and we also had to work together to go forward." –Alejandro, Grade 7

"It took two tries to get to the top of the rock wall. When I got there I could see so far!" –Schuyler, Grade 5

"A memorable moment at Frost Valley this year was the ladder because I pushed myself to my own limits and went higher each time I went up." –Aidin, Grade 7

"We made memories that will last forever." –Julia, Grade 8

"I had fun climbing to the top of the wall. I did the hard course! I also enjoyed the pillow fight in the cabin." –Kevin, Grade 5

"I enjoyed the icebreaker activities the first night because they made us all think creatively and laugh." –Alessa, Grade 7

"At night, talking to the others in my cabin was the best part." –Lucas, Grade 6

"I really enjoyed the hikes because it was a great time to socialize and bond with my classmates. It was also very beautiful. The rivers and trees were very vibrant."  –Jia, Grade 7

"Potato Apple! (inside joke)" –Arthur, Grade 5
