Last Sunday was Morristown's annual Festival on the Green. Thousands of people (for real) came from near and far to stroll around downtown Morristown visiting vendor booths lining South Street and The Green -- including The Red Oaks School's double-wide tent. This event grows larger each year. Current Red Oaks families, alumni parents and students, friends, and prospective families visited our tent to Spin the Red Oaks Wheel for fun swag (stress balls, pencil cases, string backpacks, cookies, and shopping tote bags). The Red Oaks School swag could be seen around Morristown thanks to middle school student volunteers Arianna Begliomini, Kevin Elias, Andrew Hickman, Sophia Kahn, Dasha Medvednikova, and Sadie Trynin. These marketing-savvy students ran the spinning wheel with sincerity and cheerfulness throughout the day while passersby lined up to try their luck! A big shout out to Tom Trynin, Claire Elias, Debra Tarantino, and Elizabeth Kahn for keeping Fran company during the event and chatting it up with prospective families. It's a long day, but well worth the experience watching our kids work so well together!
