Congratulations to Red Oaks 8th grader Aaron Binstock and his local robotics team for their stellar performance at the Vex IQ Robotics State Championship! Aaron and his team, "The LADs" (affiliated with Long Hill FORCE Robotics), won first place in the team competition event. The LADs were also honored with the prestigious Excellence Award, which is presented to a single team that shows oustanding merit across all competitive events. Another kudos to Aaron for his impressive submission to the STEM research project, in which he prepared a paper and presentation on his self-built drone that can be used to find victims trapped in structures deemed too dangerous for first responders. Overall, the day's success has qualified the team for the World Competition in April! Best of luck to Aaron and The LADs!
