Congratulations to Red Oaks Elementary students, Robert DeAllaume and Aanya Pothupalem, for winning First Place in their respective categories at Northeast Music Teachers Association (NEMTA) piano competition! Third grade student Robert DeAllaume won First Place in the Level 2 Standard category with his rendition of Sonatina and first grade student Aanya Pothupalem won First Place in the Preparatory Standard category with her rendition of Puppy Dog by William Gillock. These are two very accomplished students particularly in light of this year’s event being open to international participants. Kudos to Robert and Aanya for their very impressive performances!
