The Red Oaks School was bursting with spirit on Thursday, October 25, as students across both campuses celebrated Spirit Day!
Cutler Campus had a variety of activities that included Upper Elementary students reading to Primary students, classroom craft activities, and a pep rally led by our mascot Nibbles (aka Coach Gary)! Each class performed their own special Red Oaks cheer and teachers took part in unique challenges, all while our panel of squirrel judges awarded acorns for spirit. It was a tight race between Primary, Lower El, and Upper El, and after the judges conferred...Spirit Day ended in a tie! Thanks to Coach Gary & Mr. Tim, it was great "spirit filled" experience for all!
Our Middle School was full of Red Oaks Spirit! Students (along with their faculty advisors!) created and performed elaborate skits, complete with costumes, dialogue, music, and some interesting dance moves! The afternoon ended with a viewing of the animated classic It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and some delicious Italian ice for everyone! There was an abundance of excitement and Red Oaks spirit at the Middle School!
