After School Care

After school childcare is available on a contracted basis and includes age-appropriate activities and play under the watchful eyes and guidance of an experienced and caring staff.

Early Childhood & Elementary Childcare

Red Oaks provides a warm and nurturing after school childcare program for students in Early Childhood through Grade 4. Childcare is offered from school dismissal until 6:00 PM, or for any part thereof. Snack is served and children engage in a variety of recreational activities and supervised open play. This program has a high adult/child ratio so that all of the activities are closely supervised to ensure child safety. Any child attending The Red Oaks School at Cutler Street is eligible to utilize the after school Childcare.

Middle School Homework Club 

Our "Homework Club" program provides a quiet, structured environment for middle school students to do their homework. Homework Club is offered from school dismissal until 6:00 PM, or for any part thereof.The main goal of the homework club is to instill good work habits, organizational skills, and a sense of accomplishment in every student. Homework Club helps students manage their assignments and allows families a chance to have fun-family time every night. Once homework is complete children will have the opportunity to participate in light recreational activities.

Contracted vs. Occasional After School Care

Contracted After School Care–a recurring schedule of 4 weeks or more–is billed at $14/hour per student and $10/hr for siblings. “Occasional” After School Care is billed at $17/hour per student. It is available for spur of the moment, irregular need for after school care (e.g., work issue, unforeseen situation that does not allow for timely pick up). You may call the main office at either campus to arrange for Occasional After School Care.
