Take a look at our virtual summer offerings to brighten up your child’s summer activities. Our summer sessions will appeal to the artist, scientist, musician, mathematician, writer, or nature lover in all of our children. Choose from a fantastic array of offerings!

PRIMARY
PRIMARY ENRICHMENT
All Primary courses will run 3 days per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, for a duration of 3 weeks. Cost is $175 per course.
Space: Explore our Solar System
Tuesday, June 23–Thursday, July 9

Fasten your seat belts and get ready to blast off for a fun journey through the solar system with Ms. Nimisha! Our future astronauts will explore the solar system through hands-on activities to learn about the Sun, and everything bound to it by gravity including the planets & their moons, asteroids, and comets.
Summer Songbook with Ms. Jen!

Students will explore the sights, sounds, and stories of summer through music with Ms. Jen. Through singing, musical storytelling, learning about summer sounds, and moving with musical games, we will make our own musical vacation! See you there! No suitcase required!
Backyard Birds and Creatures
Tuesday, July 7–Thursday, July 23

Instructor: Ms. Chantal
Learn about our outdoor neighbors in the backyard. Children will learn to identify birds common to New Jersey, such as the robin, goldfinch, blue jay and mockingbird. We will paint birds “realistically” and end up with a bird mobile. Other birding activities will be included. We will also start a worm farm- simple and educational! Children will release the creatures after a week of study!

Elementary Courses (Grades 1-4)
Music: Virtual Ensemble
Tuesday, June 23–Thursday, July 9
1:00–2:00 PM
Instructor: Mr. Tim
Students will sing songs, perform movements, and play simple rhythms on objects found at home. Recordings of students will be collected and put together to create ensemble performances. Students can make their own recordings or Mr. Tim can record them on his screen.
Spanish: Crafts & Conversation!

Join Señora Martha this summer in crafts and conversation. Each week we will create a different craft related to a Spanish speaking country. We will engage in basic conversation on topics related to travel, shopping, and culture. A fantastic way to learn about traditional crafts and going places right from home!
Lower Elementary Courses (Grades 1/2)
LE: Nature, Art, and Science Camp

Students will explore the outdoors and engage in an interdisciplinary unit with the Arts and Science. Through art and science based discussions, students will focus on three different themes:

UE: Miraculous Math!

Students will dive into the natural world to discover the wonders of math in art and nature. This interdisciplinary program will touch upon number theory & geometry, art & design, biology & physics. Using student input, we will pursue high interest project ideas. We will create art projects such as clocks, mobiles, polyhedral sculptures, et cetera that infuse mathematics & offer greater appreciation for the beauty of math!
UE: Painting with Artists

Students will be creating painting’s "Bob Ross" style. Students will be provided with three canvas panels, one for each week. Students will create 3 separate styled paintings while following both Bob Ross and Ms. Emily. The Joy of Painting” aired on TV in the U.S., Canada, Latin American, and Europe for 11 years. Robert (Bob) Ross was famous for his landscapes - mountains, lakes, snow and log cabins. He was known for his talent and kindness to people and orphaned animals. Join his doppleganger “Willow (Ms. Emily)” in an artistic adventure exploring Bob’s techniques and creating original art.
UE: Figuring Out Characters with Fantasy Stories
Tuesday, June 30 -Thursday, July 16
9:00–10:00 AM
Instructor: Ms. Leanne
Students will use both a shared digital/printed and copied resource and a recommended independent fantasy text to analyze a character's thoughts, words, actions, desires, feelings, and relationships. In doing so students will determine precise character traits and practice creating thorough reading responses. Throughout the course, students will engage in online discussions, deepening reading comprehension and sharing ways they evaluate their characters.

MIDDLE SCHOOL ENRICHMENT
All Middle School courses will run 5 days per week, Monday, June 22 through Friday, July 10*.
Cost: $200 per course

Math Explorers!

Math is found all around us. It is playful and real. Join this exciting hour of creative and “out of the box” math activities. Come and have fun with math!

Calling all fantasy fans to pick up your pens or keyboards, to frolic in the land of wizards, magical creatures, unbelievable abilities, royalty, and settings that defy earthly rules. Join Ms. Spring to cook up mesmerizing stories using fantastical ingredients. Free your imaginations to create worlds without the limit of reality. Craft your own story, or collaborate with another author. Let's have some fun!
French is for Summer

Warm sunny days, colorful flowers, and balmy breezes create the season for love. Picnics, music and a day at the beach - this is the perfect time to fall in love with a new language. Often considered the most romantic language in the world. French is the official language in 29 countries around the world and the second-most widely spoken first language in the UE. Learn French and French music with Señora!!
